Low Sweat CLEAR Melt and Pour CUT UPS soap base is very popular because it has little to no ‘sweating’ and is the recommended base to use if you like wrapping your soaps in paper. LSC performs very well even in areas of high humidity. Mix this base with many of our other varieties to help reduce sweating or simply use it as is. Add some of our skin safe fragrance to create a beautifully scented soap. Also consider adding some colour to decorate your soap.

These ‘Cut Ups’ are sold in larger blocks by the kilo. Unlike our retail blocks they are not shrink wrapped and are perfect for the soap maker requiring larger quantities. Take advantage of the bulk savings here.

Directions

Melt your soap base:
Determine the amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project, this will be based on the mold you are using. Carefully cut the soap base into small chunks and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until liquid. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.

Pour:
Stir in a color and/or fragrance of choice, then pour into your mold. Spritz the soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.

Remove:
Remove your soap from the mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your hand made melt and pour soap bar is now ready to lather up.
