Notes

By hydrogenating a by-product of the soy harvesting process, we’re able to use this thicker and tougher compound to harden and stabilise the natural soy wax resulting in a 100% natural product that performs consistently like any great wax should. This very scientific and carefully measured process leaves us with what we believe is the best pure soy wax available on the market.

Pure Soy S100:

  • Is made entirely from Soy
  • A high fragrance tolerance for a pure soy wax (6-8%)
  • Gorgeous creamy soy finish
  • Great container adhesion
  • Anti-shrinking and frosting properties
  • Fantastic oil absorption resulting in amazing hot and cold scent throw
  • We believe it is the most stable and most consistent pure soy wax on the market

Our recommendation

Being made entirely from soy, this 100% natural product can be more temperamental than our other blended waxes, we recommended trialling of this wax to ensure you’re able to harness the beautiful potential of pure, natural soy. We suggest you take extra care preparing the pouring conditions of your candles and to always run a test in those conditions before mass producing any of your candle ranges.

We recommend Pure Soy S100 for experienced and patient candle makers. It can be challenging to master as it is produced without any other compounds.

Pour Temperature: The recommended temperature for pouring your wax (and fragrance) into the candle jar.

If difficulties are experienced with your pour temperatures, try a lower or higher temperature in increments of 2°C.

Where has this beautiful wax been hiding? I prefer cold wax’s and always used GW415 for coloured candles as it didn’t frost. This wax doesn’t frost, has very little wet spotting, is glossy and has a fantastc fragrance throw. I’ve spent 2 busy days with it. I just LOVE it. You should google cooking instructions though as all wax’s need different prep. For this I double boiled over a very low heat until it reached 80dr cel. Removed, added fragrance and colour, stirred for at least 2 min and poured at 45 dgr celc. I did up my fragrance from 6 % that I used to use with GW415 to 7%. Seems perfect.
